Version 2.0.17

Image
This version solves the issue with making of backups and unability to save the file. Now it should be working across all the Android devices. If you keep having troubles let me know at visiondreamlabs(at)gmail.com.  Also it adds another features: adding Starlux Airlines support for saving report color theme across sessions and applying this color for floating app menu across whole app It is going to be a long run to make it applied within all the buttons and graphic elements of the whole app...

New Issue Found

Saving app backup and flight export don't work. Likely due to last security patch for Android. Expected fix delivery: next week.

Version 2.0.14

Making of version 2.0.14 was very painful. First of all, I needed to manage with a new Google's rule introduced in the latest security update - forced removal of the permission READ_MEDIA_IMAGES which I used for profile photo selection and sharing map. Profile photo is selected by Photo Picker now. Perhaps, I spent a lot of time with finding a solution how to share map without that permission and I didn't crack it. So, the menu entry Save map is temporarily disabled. Let's hope that it is not temporary solution as Soviet army in Czechoslovakia in 1968... This version brings many improvements: new widget Top Aircrafts improves managing alliances - inactive alliances are now in gray color both in autocomplete and in the list. enhanced display of Visited Countries Stats Flight List: support for filtering by flight number and registration.

Save Map Issue

I found following bugs in the current version v2.0.12: map cannot be successfully shared  you cannot take an profile image by camera on same devices you may not be able to pick profile image from files (known brands: Xiaomi) Very likely bond to the new limitation from Google / Google Play regarding the permission READ_MEDIA_IMAGES which has been applied silently in the background. Thank you, Google.  It will be fixed in the future version within a week.

CSV File Import

Image
Currently, the app fully supports CSV file import from MyFlightRadar24. Go to Settings (upper tray) > Export (left column) > Download CSV (button)  to gain your file. Perhaps, it accepts any CSV with the same structure. Data example: Date,"Flight number",From,To,"Dep time","Arr time",Duration,Airline,Aircraft,Registration,"Seat number","Seat type","Flight class","Flight reason",Note,Dep_id,Arr_id,Airline_id,Aircraft_id 2016-08-26,QS1098,"Prague / Praha-Ruzyne (PRG/LKPR)","London / Gatwick (LGW/EGKK)",19:50:00,20:55:00,02:05:00,"Travel Service (QS/TVS)","Boeing 737-800 (B738)",,,3,1,1,,2398,1614,803,231 Data structure: Comma as delimiter  Headline in this format:  Date,"Flight number",From,To,"Dep time","Arr time",Duration,Airline,Aircraft,Registration,"Seat number","Seat type","Flight class","Flight rea...
